Premier League kits 2019-20: Find out the latest strips to be worn by Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and all other teams for next season

  • Liverpool and Chelsea released new home kits at back end of 2018-19 season
  • Bournemouth have also unveiled a new home kit ready for the new campaign
  • Sportsmail will assess EVERY new Premier League kit as they are released

SUMMER ESSENTIALS

They can range from the bizarre to the beautiful and from the most basic to the innovative, but it’s never dull waiting to see the latest Premier League kit releases.

Granted, it feels like each year trying to buy them all for one team puts a strain on the bank balance, but which ones are worth the expense and which are ones to avoid?

Sportsmail will keep you up to date with all the kit releases from every Premier League side throughout the summer as well as give our verdict on each strip’s design…

BOURNEMOUTH

Home kit

Good effort from Umbro. Not only have they managed to keep the tradition of a Bournemouth kit true with black and red stripes but they have managed to make it fresh.

The Cherries’ recent offerings had become a little stale, but with red sleeves and a stitched in faded red stripe going across the kit this should keep the fans content ahead of a fifth consecutive Premier League campaign.

CHELSEA

Home kit

Swing and a miss. There is a fine line to be trodden on when trying to design a kit with a crazy pattern in the shading.

An example of how to do it right comes with Mexico’s 1998 World Cup kit, and even they had the advantage of the fashion crime amnesty being in force for much of the 1990s.

The Blues though have no such defence and even Eden Hazard looks like he is thinking he would rather be elsewhere while wearing it judging by the club’s promotional pictures.

HOME KIT VERDICT: 4/10

CRYSTAL PALACE

Home kit

No thrills stuff, right? To the neutral it’s a standard Crystal Palace kit with red and blue stripes – but Eagles supporters may have noticed a subtle difference elsewhere.

The yellow trim which has been on their shirts since they were promoted to the top flight for the 2013-14 season has now gone and has been replaced by white, which is included as a stylish stripe across blue sections of the shirt.

Otherwise yes it is just your standard Crystal Palace shirt. Still, Puma have tried to do something different and they have proven you don’t have to be radical to make notable changes.

HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10

LIVERPOOL

Home kit

Liverpool have released their new 2019-20 home kit and while there is little surprise that it is red, there is a return to the strip that has not been seen since 1984.

Pin stripes are back in vogue at Anfield having last featured on the home kit when they lifted their fourth European Cup.

It would have been nicer if the stripes went the full way up the kit, but maybe the idea of falling short helped blend the old design with a modern concept.

All jokes aside, this is smart strip and a good offering from New Balance in the final year of their Reds deal.
